ANTITRUST AND MERGER CONTROL
Any successful business has to cope with the regulations of the market as contained in Antitrust Law (including Merger Control). Based on:
the antitrust consulting practice of BRÖDERMANN & JAHN (e. g. in the areas of merger control and contract drafting, control of abuse of dominant market positions, representation at the German Cartel Office);
the practical experience of Dr. Philipp von Dietze in Merger Control and Antitrust Law (gained from the very beginning of his practice in a large law firm) and his writing and teaching in this area (co-author of the 2nd edition of an introduction into Antitrust Law, C. H. Beck 2002, post graduate lecturing; Dr. Philipp von Dietze is also member of the Studienvereinigung für Kartellrecht e.V.);
the expertise of Counsel Professor Dr. Peter Behrens in Antitrust Law (research and teaching, counselling, in particular by legal opinions; advisor of governments and international organizations, for example OECD, East African Union (Kenia, Tanzania, Uganda), drafting of a supra-national cartel law and a supra-national cartel authority;
the expertise of Counsel Professor Dr. Jörn Axel Kämmerer in European Antitrust Law (research, teaching, counselling, in particular by legal opinions, with a focus on public enterprises);
the firm has developed, under the direction of Dr. Philipp von Dietze, an Antitrust Law Team, which offers comprehensive advice in all aspects of Antitrust Law. Simultaneously, Antitrust Law has been integrated into the in-house training program for all attorneys.
