ARBITRATION
Many clients prefer to keep disputes confidential for various reasons, not least to safeguard their reputation. To provide the best legal services it is not only necessary to draft the right arbitration clauses but also to have experience of how to handle an arbitration if it comes to that.
The arbitration practice, including up to three associates, covers both national and international arbitration. Depending on the task, the firm has formed project teams both with CONSULEGIS partners and cooperation partners outside CONSULEGIS.
Both, Dr. Erhard Jahn and Dr. Eckart Brödermann have served in various arbitrations as counsel or arbitrator. Dr. Eckart Brödermann is listed with the Deutsche Institut für Schiedsgerichtsbarkeit e. V. (German Institute for Arbitration) and - since 2002 - as arbitrator with the London Court of International Arbitration and the international arbitration court of St. Petersburg "The Law Center "IUS" ("Juridichesky Center ").
Further, Dr. Eckart Brödermann has co-authored books and articles on arbitration, including for example "Enforcement of American Arbitral Awards in Germany", International Litigation Quarterly 1, 219 - 239, 1985.
BRÖDERMANN & JAHN constantly trains its younger attorneys to master the skills needed for successful arbitration proceedings.
The national and international arbitration team is headed by Dr. Eckart Brödermann.
