CORPORATE LAW | M&A
The dynamics of Corporate Law reflect the development towards globalization and Europeanization (an example is the European regulation on the establishment of truly supranational European companies in the form of a Societas Europaea (SE). Similarly, the techniques and strategies used in M & A transactions and Corporate Finance are constantly readjusted and adapted to changing economic realities.
Corporate Law represents the core of BRÖDERMANN & JAHN's daily business, based on more than 35 years of experience of its senior partner Dr. Erhard Jahn and on the drive with which the BRÖDERMANN & JAHN team is working. Dr. Philipp von Dietze, partner since 2001, and Dr. Andrea Tiedemann, partner since October 2002 have brought in additional Corporate Law experience.
Due to the experience gained in the daily practice in the Corporate Law field (and related branches of law), the BRÖDERMANN & JAHN can often develop considerable creativity and speed in corporate cases like the setting up or restructuring of companies. In view of its international emphasis, BRÖDERMANN & JAHN is also well placed to assist its clients in business decisions relating to international corporate restructuring, establishing branch offices, or setting up German and foreign subsidiaries.
The corporate team includes most lawyers of the firm. Dres. Eckart Brödermann and Philipp von Dietze are the joint heads (both of them have also been teaching Corporate Law and related matters like Corporate Finance, M&A or Corporate Conflicts of Law, e. g. at a post-graduate study program at Hamburg University, at the Institute for International Development, Rome, or at the MBA study program of the North Academy at Elmshorn near Hamburg). Furthermore, special experts - including the firm's Counsels Chartered Accountant Torsten Satz and Professor Dr. Peter Behrens - have joined the team in order to assist as constant advisors in the fields of business evaluation, corporate financing and structuring, taxation, IPO or cross border relocation of businesses and companies.
