    Dr. Erhard Jahn

Born: Leipzig, Germany, September 03, 1930
  Admitted: 1959-2007, Germany

Goodbye to an old friend!
On 10 August 2007, our senior partner Erhard Jahn died suddenly and unexpected. He was co-founder of the law firm, sagacious adviser, friend and still an active lawyer amid a young team. He stood for being human and staying human in modern times of global business. We will continue the law firm in this spirit.

Dr. Jahn studied in Göttingen and Munich. He completed his legal clerkship in Hamburg where he also earned his doctorate in Corporate Law (in 1958). During his almost 50 years of legal practice he was an active business lawyer concentrating both on international transactions and international litigation and arbitration.

Erhard Jahn was senior partner of the large German firm where Eckart Brödermann began his work as a lawyer admitted in Germany in 1990. In mid 1998 they founded the law firm Brödermann & Jahn, in which Erhard Jahn took an active part until his end.
