Due to its work for a satellite operating firm BRÖDERMANN & JAHN has developed expertise in a the special field of satellite operation, i.e. a particular part of Outer Space Law.

Dr. Eckart Brödermanns first concentration on Outer Space law goes back to 1981 when he published an article concentrating on Instant Customary Law in Outer Space ("Quelques réflexions sur le role de la coutume internationale dans le droit de l'espace", in: Thesaurus Acroasium X, Air and Outer Space Law, Thessaloniki 1981, pp. 809-821). Further, Counsel Professor Dr. Jörn Axel Kämmerer has dealt with the law of "global commons" such as the High Seas or Outer Space.
