Christoph Oertel advises his clients in international business projects, on transactions (M&A and Start-up-Consulting for financing) and on international and national trade law. In drafting his contracts, he lays specific significance on the appropriate measures to incorporate the international dimensions of his clients’ needs.

As a member of Brödermann Jahn’s French Desk he supports clients from French speaking countries in their business endeavors in Germany as well as German clients doing business in the French speaking world.

Over the last few years, Christoph Oertel has intensified his focus on the issues of compliance. He advises on questions surrounding customs and export control law in particular, and has the experience to handle issues of good corporate governance addressing corruption prevention in the national and international context.

Finally, Dr. Oertel has supported businesses in crisis situations and restructuring as well as advising in insolvency scenarios.

The clients which Dr. Oertel has supported come from various industries such as cosmetics, plant and systems construction, shipbuilding and retail, to name only a few.
